Training at Intergen

The Path to Professionalism

Intergen provides training opportunities for:

  • University students, public institution staff, private sector employees,

  • Both undergraduate and graduate-level participants,

in the form of internships, specialized technical training, courses, congresses, presentations, conferences, hands-on workshops, and applied consulting services.

We support academics who lack project experience, particularly those without prior involvement in genetics-related research. We organize genetics training programs for academic groups.

At Intergen, we believe that the advancement of our country through a well-educated population competing on the world stage means progress for all of us.

Our doors are always open to anyone who touches or wishes to touch the fields of humanity, science, and health!

Corporate Trainings

Every Wednesday from 16:00 to 17:30, we dedicate time for “Wednesday Training Sessions”—a program designed for staff education. These sessions are conducted either by leveraging the expertise of our in-house team or by inviting external experts specializing in requested topics. Whether driven by the interests of our staff or the rapidly evolving field of genetics, these trainings keep our team continuously updated.

Thanks to these regular sessions, our team not only gains knowledge and practical experience, but Intergen also ensures that the quality of its services remains aligned with the latest gold-standard practices in the field.

“In this world, for material success, for spiritual fulfillment, for life itself,
and for achievement—there is no truer guide than science and knowledge.”

Workshops

Below are some of the courses we offer:

  • Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Workshop

  • Sanger Sequencing Workshop

  • Primer and Probe Design Workshop

  • Real-Time PCR and Gene Expression Workshop

  • Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) Workshop

All our workshops are conducted with a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. For additional workshop requests beyond the listed programs, please feel free to contact us.

Internships and Trainee Programs

The primary goal of our internship program is to integrate and reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired during undergraduate and graduate studies with real-world experience and practical applications. Another important objective is to provide students with industry-specific work experience and help them develop their sense of responsibility and accountability.

At Intergen, we aim to nurture future professionals by offering internship opportunities during various periods of the year. We typically accept 15-20 interns annually, providing them with a chance to see, understand, and experience the inner workings of the healthcare sector.
