Prof. Dr. Sibel Berker Karaüzüm graduated from the Department of Biology at Hacettepe University in 1986 and began her academic career in 1987 as a Research Assistant in the Department of Medical Biology and Genetics at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine.
