She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. After completing two years of compulsory public service, she began her residency training in Pathology at the Ministry of Health Ankara Training and Research Hospital. Four years later, she started working as a Specialist in Pathology in the Department of Pathology at the Ministry of Health Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Training and Research Hospital.
